One way the protagonist John Luther is typical of the TV crime drama Genre is by the character development, during the first episode it shows how Luther ended up in the Adult psychiatric ward because he allowed a criminal to fall to his death, Luther then shows different emotional states, showing how he cares for his wife even though she wanted a divorce and found someone new.

    This is a great start but it isn't nearly enough! Explain how he fits the conventions and then explain how he doesn't.
